These jackets are crafted using traditional Phulkari textiles originating from the Punjab region of India. Meaning “flower work,” Phulkari is a centuries old embroidery technique known for its vibrant threadwork and intricate geometric and floral patterns.
Each jacket is finished with a block print lining, created using one of India’s oldest textile arts. In the block printing process, artisans hand carve wooden blocks and stamp each design individually onto fabric using layered dyes and pigments. The subtle irregularities and variation in print are part of the beauty of this entirely handmade process.
Every jacket becomes a wearable piece of heritage crafted slowly, thoughtfully, and rich with artisan story.
